Much like SZERELEM, EGYMÁSRA NÉZVE uses a relationship as the central element for its themes. Both films also occur against the backdrop of harrowing times, with EGYMÁSRA NÉZVE occurring during the wake of the 1956 Revolution and SZERELEM involving a husband absent, arrested as a political prisoner.
